These Terms of Service govern your use of twolanternstherapy.com. By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

These terms cover the website only. They don’t create a therapist–client relationship, and they don’t replace the agreements I provide to clients at intake.

This website belongs to Two Lanterns Therapy, LLC, a solo private practice that I own and operate as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

This site exists to share information about my practice and to make it easier to get in touch. It is not:

• A substitute for therapy
• A clinical service
• A crisis resource
• A diagnostic tool
• Medical advice of any kind

Reading something on this site does not make you my client, and nothing on this site should be interpreted as personal clinical guidance.

This website is not staffed for emergencies. If you’re in crisis, having thoughts of harming yourself or someone else, or otherwise need immediate help, please contact one of the following:

• 741741 — Crisis Text Line (text HOME)
• 911 or your nearest emergency room

I can’t respond to crisis communications through this website or its forms.

Sending me a message through the website doesn’t make you a client. The therapist–client relationship begins only after we’ve completed intake, signed the appropriate agreements, and scheduled a first session. Until then, anything I share by email or on the site is general information, not clinical guidance.

If you’re interested in becoming a client, please use the New Client Inquiry process. I review every inquiry personally and will let you know whether I’m a good fit, or refer you elsewhere if I’m not.

Licensure and where I can practice

I am licensed to provide therapy only in states where I hold a current license. Currently that includes Massachusetts. If you live or are physically located in another state, I may not be able to take you on as a client regardless of clinical fit.

The text, images, and design on this site are mine (or licensed for my use), and they’re protected by copyright. You’re welcome to read, share links to, and refer to my content. You may not copy substantial portions, republish it as your own, or use it commercially without permission.

If something on the site looks like it shouldn’t be there, for example content I appear to have used without permission, please email me so I can address it.

The site occasionally links to other websites, for example crisis resources or professional organizations. I include those links because I think they’re useful, but I don’t control or endorse the content of outside sites, and I’m not responsible for what happens when you visit them.

Limitation of liability

I do my best to keep the website accurate and working, but I make no guarantees about its accuracy, availability, or fitness for any particular purpose. To the extent allowed by Massachusetts law, I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages that result from your use of the website.

This limitation does not apply to the clinical care I provide as a licensed clinician. That’s governed separately by my license, my professional obligations, and the agreements signed at intake.

I may update these terms occasionally. When I do, I’ll change the effective date above. Continuing to use the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Any disputes arising from your use of the website will be handled in Massachusetts courts.
